YUSRA MARDINI

Yusra Mardini is a Syrian Olympic swimmer, refugee advocate, and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. After fleeing Syria in 2015, she helped save lives during a dangerous sea crossing by swimming to keep the boat afloat. Yusra later competed for the Refugee Olympic Team at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics and now uses her platform to advocate for refugees worldwide, inspiring millions with her story of resilience and hope.
